Tigh Geal holiday cottage has been fitted out to high self catering standards. The house runs on renewable energy. An air source heat pump has been installed and the house has under floor heating throughout. There is also access for the disabled and a high chair is available.
Accommodation consists of two bedrooms (one double and one twin room), a large bathroom with walk in shower, a large living room with Satellite TV, Satellite WIFI, DVD and CD player including iPod dock, large dining kitchen which incorporates a fully fitted kitchen and patio doors overlooking the machair and sea beyond

A trip to Balranald nature reserve will have you in bird watching heaven. Fishermen will love the trout, salmon and sea trout fishing on lochs full of wild fish. Being relatively flat, North Uist is also great for cyclists and walkers.
There are many great walks from Tigh Geal, one of the best walks can be done from the front door and takes in 4 beaches and through the machair, with great views all the way.
It makes a great day out with a picnic. From Tigh Geal you can sit with a glass of wine and enjoy uninterrupted views of spectacular sunsets over the dunes. On a clear night, with no light pollution in Sollas, the night sky is something you will never forget.
